Terms of Service

Last updated 5 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Flowmaps (flowmaps.app, the flowmaps command and the Claude connection). By creating an account or using Flowmaps, you agree to them. We've tried to keep them short and in plain English.

1. Who we are

Flowmaps is operated by Emmerce & Media, based in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce/KvK number 76128016). You can reach us at flowmapsco@gmail.com.

2. Flowmaps is in beta

Flowmaps is currently a beta. It's free during the beta, and features may change, be added or be removed as we learn. It may have bugs or occasional downtime. Please keep your own copy of anything that is important to you, such as your code.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Flowmaps.
  • Use an email address you control. Signing in happens through links sent to it.
  • You are responsible for what happens with your account, your connected computers and your Claude connections. If you think one is misused, disconnect it in Settings and tell us.

4. Your content

What you create in Flowmaps is yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run Flowmaps for you, for example to show it in your mind map, send it to the AI features you use, or show the help articles you choose to publish. When you delete content or your account, this permission ends, apart from copies in backups that expire in the normal cycle.

You are responsible for your content, and for having the rights to anything you put into Flowmaps.

5. AI features and your API key

  • AI features use your own Anthropic API key. Anthropic bills you directly for that usage, and Anthropic's terms apply to it. We don't add any charges on top.
  • AI output, including code, recommendations, build prompts and help articles, can be wrong. Review it before you rely on it, publish it or put it in front of customers.
  • You are responsible for the products you build with Flowmaps, including the code and how it's used.

6. Flags are not legal advice

Flags point out possible legal, security, compliance and cost risks, so you can look into them early. They are automatic and incomplete, and they are not legal, financial or professional advice. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional.

7. Fair use

Please don't:

  • use Flowmaps for anything illegal, or to build products meant to harm people;
  • try to access other people's data, or break or work around our security;
  • overload Flowmaps, for example with automated mass requests;
  • resell Flowmaps or offer it as your own service without our permission.

If you do, we may suspend or close your account. Where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first.

8. Other services

Flowmaps works with services from others, such as Anthropic (Claude), Claude Code and GitHub. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we're not responsible for them.

9. Prices

Flowmaps is free during the beta. Before any paid plan starts, we'll tell you the price by email well in advance. You only start paying if you choose a paid plan.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Flowmaps at any time. To delete your account and data, email flowmapsco@gmail.com. We may end the service or the beta; if we do, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can export your content.

11. Liability

Flowmaps is provided “as is” during the beta. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €100 if that is more. This does not limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, and it doesn't take away any rights you have as a consumer.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll update the date at the top, and email you about important changes before they take effect. If you keep using Flowmaps after that, the new terms apply.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If we have a disagreement, please email us first; we'll try to solve it together. If that doesn't work, the competent court in the Netherlands decides, unless the law gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to a court where you live.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms: flowmapsco@gmail.com. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
